Restoring lettering or engraving
What, if anything, can be done to restore the lettering or engraving on the plates? Thanks in advance for your input.

A client of mine makes professional baseball bats. The engraved wood is filled with paint. The technique they use is just what is discribed in the post link above.

If I had the task I would use the same one myself.

How cool! This looks like something even I could do!

There is also this post which has my method. The paint is easy to find and is quite inexpensive.

I knew you had one some where but I just wasn't searching with the right words.

Thanks for finding it.
