Pocket Watch storage cases "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Many years back I purchased a pocket watch storage case from SLaRose but have not found any other than "Miles" cases which are all out of stock (confirmed by email) so I was wondering if anyone knows of another source that makes cases to store 30-40 pocket watches?

Hey Claude,I just did a quick Google of "pocket watch storage cases" and several dealers came up. Corley's Watch Cases seemed to have a pretty nice aluminum case,on a buy one get one free deal. Anyway,lots of them out there. Happy hunting.

You might want to check out our own member Desmond Lundy's cases, a lot of us have bought them from him & they are great cases just like Desmond.

Here is a link to them;

After I did my post I realized I said Desmond is a great case, I didn't mean it that way, I mean he is a great guy. I am not too sure on what kind of case he is since I have never physically met him!

Thanks Tom those are along the lines I was looking for! For wristwatches storage cases are common but with pocket watches the pickings are slim. Tom at least you didn't add "basket" to your comment, that would take more than a few fancy dance steps to get around!!! Smile

Claude, the storage cases tha are available from Desmond Lundy are ideal for watches and come in three watch sizes, large (18-20) medium (12-16) and small (12 and under). They are the best deal you will find.

Dave is the overall case the same size and the inserts (trays) have different size partition squares depending on the size of the watch? If so that means someone could stack them and label them according to the size of watches inside which definitely works for me. That would also make it easier for safe storage. Also I see that in the link it mentions 1 or more trays, I will contact him and go from there I have watches that are in my watch tool case because I am out of watch case storage in the two that I purchased from S.LaRose many years ago.

The last order I placed came with labels, and they seem to all be the same size. I use the one for knives to store my Straight Razors in:

Yes all the watch storage cases are the same length and width making labelling and storage very pratical. I use label machine tapes, but Desmond also includes some extruded Aluminum label holders.
