Regent Pocket Watch "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I was bidding on a "Regent" pocket watch, 16s 21j, adj temp and 5 positions the other day, did not get it unfortunately, bur was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this watch. I am led to believe it is a Gruen, possibly Cdn RR grade, can anyone offer advice as to what this is, and if it was RR approved. Seeing as I did not get it I do not know if it was lever or pendant set, might not have made a difference as I do not know the year of manufacture. I thought I had seen one somewhere on this board at some time in the past.
Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill:

There is a picture of Gruen Regent private-label from a jeweler in Ottawa, Ontario on page 13 of my Canadian Private Label thread.

Larry,
Is this watch lever set or pendant set, and what year would it have been from ?
