Over my collecting years I have owned several Waltham indicators, mostly 16s 23j Vanguards and a Crescent Street. I know the Walthams are the most common indicators found ( I am still looking for a Hampden, even if they don't exist). I have seen, and own, what I thought were reproduction Waltham indicator dials in metal. However I was told that Waltham did make or have made metal indicator dials. Do you Waltham folks know the facts on that? Deacon | ||

Yes, Waltham did make Metal dials for all their styles incl; W.I., these were touted as "High Visibility" at first, then age set in . . . | |||

Hey Dave they told the truth because many Waltham metal dials are still highly visible in the same sense as Roseann Barr, noticeable in their ugliness! Deacon | |||
