Over my collecting years I have owned several Waltham indicators, mostly 16s 23j Vanguards and a Crescent Street. I know the Walthams are the most common indicators found ( I am still looking for a Hampden, even if they don't exist). I have seen, and own, what I thought were reproduction Waltham indicator dials in metal. However I was told that Waltham did make or have made metal indicator dials. Do you Waltham folks know the facts on that?

Yes, Waltham did make Metal dials for all their styles incl; W.I., these were touted as "High Visibility" at first, then age set in . . .

Hey Dave they told the truth because many Waltham metal dials are still highly visible in the same sense as Roseann Barr, noticeable in their ugliness!
