For anyone interested in the Louisville & Nashville RR - I have one copy of the definitive volume of L & N Steam with the history and also maps and hundreds of vintage photos on 228 pages of hard cover done by Indiana University Press - who inherited the works of Mr. Richard Prince. I was a distributor of these books when I was in the model train business, and did train shows from St Louis, MO and eastward to the east coast. I am now retired from that pursuit, but have some items left, and this is a NOS volume complete with dust jacket. I sold many of these at $35.00 and should any of you fine IHC185 members desire to increase your knowledge and appreciation of this railroad ( since railroads are inextricably linked with our hobby ) I will sell this one at $20.00 and I will pay the shipping. Thanks you for your interest

Title page - photo
The Richard Prince books (there are but 10 titles) were originally published by Mr. Prince, himself, and marketed through RR Historical Societies and Clubs and museums. They are in very few collections and occasionally found in a few libraries.... satisfy your curiosity by going to abebooks.com and see what you discover about availability and price on this site.
