Nice watch Ted, i like the lion head on the movement, interesting note, Pembroke is a small town near Ottawa where i live.There must be a Pembroke in England i imagine?

Per the Loomes book: John Barrett was woring in Pembroke 1830-48. John & Son at Pembroke Dock 1844. Also shown is Henry at Pembroke Dock 1850-68. William Henry at Pembroke Dock, 1875. All in all, it lookes like the Barretts were quite a horological family.

Hi Ted, Wales runs up to English border, and is situated on the South-West of our island and has a long coastline. Cardiff is the capital city. Regards ,Ged.
