New Watch on page-Elgin 18s (C1891) Grade 82 "Click" to Login or Register

Hello All,
I have started working on a new watch, an Elgin 18s (C1891) Grade 82. Check it out at:

http://www.timepieceshoppe.com/watch2.html

Hope to have it complete in a week, having to repair a few minor items. I will be following up on some repair methods and issues on the 'Watch Repair Questions and Answers' board a little also.

I have enjoyed repairing for some time, but would like to continue learning more about the history of these pieces. I know quite a few here at this group know the history of particular models, so chime in if you have any interesting comments about this model in particular, or other Elgins of the time.

Tony,
I closed the hole ever so slightly with a very small stake, and re-threaded it,
