I am attaching a picture of a movement made in 1898 at the Bradley Polytechnical Institute. The teacher was Chas. DeLong who we have just discussed. The student who made the movement was H. H. Smith. This is a chronometer with spring detent escapement. The movement is in the hands of Smith's grandson.

I consider all American made pocket chronometers to be very special. Thanks for sharing.
