Hi John,

Possibly an unadjusted, model 1883, 11 jewel (no plate jewels on dial side) made around 1891. As for the Vermont I do not know,I have a Waltam 11 jewel "Picadilly" not listed in the book it was an English export model and looks very much like the "Broadway" Waltham made.

Best Regards,
Bila

Ehrhardt's "Gold Book" lists a 15J Waltham 1883 model 3 signed "Vermont on the dial and Mvt. and with a "state seal" on the dial. These are quite valuable, shown at $200-$300.00 in 1980.

This one does not have the State seal and is 11j. Is this a correct dial? The Waltham book lists the serial number as 11j. I am confused, as usual. Eek
