Illinois watch question "Click" to Login or Register

posted
I have recently obtained an 18 size 21 jewel model 5 illinois watch. It is a hunting case version. The dial is a bit rough and I was wondering if there is any difference between a hunting case dial and an open case dial. Are they the same or is there some slight difference. Also can anyone tell me where I might be able to obtain a new balance staff for this watch.
TIA
Steve

Steve,
I should be able to help you with your staff, also if you send me a picture of your dial, I'll see if I have one of those.
Thanks,
Brian C.

I would think that the feet positions for a hunter and the feet positions for a open face would be different.
