It is only the second one that I have seen in about 6 years

This is just a guess but it looks like a salesman's case to me. Are they for 18s?

yes I believe it is intended for 18 size watches

THE CASE MEASURES 9 X 4.5 X 1 INCHES.

Here is the other one for 16 size pocket watches.
It held 16 watches but the top tray is missing

Hey Scott,

I found one of these recently, but mine has space for four 16 size and four 12 size Hamiltons. I'm having trouble posting pics since I've moved so I can't share right now. One thing I'm sure of, there is not enough room for another tray in mine. It was made for just 8 watches. Love the purple liners.
