I am thinking somebody in this group has a old Hamilton Watch Company ledger that can possibly shed some light on who originally bought this watch from the Hamilton watch Company....Serial number 1360...The watch has a private label dial on it (W.H. Eaton) and am wondering if this is the original dial...

It was sold to Eaton Gary, so the dial is correct, just shows that the contemporary fallacy in some circles of both the dial and movement need to be signed for it to be correct, so actually just that, a fallacySmile The Jeweler had an establishment at "Nantucket, Rhode Island".

I have a 940 ( not marked on movement) but with an A.N.Anderson dial . Ledgers show it was originally sent to A.N. Anderson
