Desmond's auction and digression into the model 72 made me think about this movement I picked up this year. It's a Royal '72 that seems to run OK. I think I'll end up selling it but don't know if there is a serious interest or how much to ask. Obviously missing a piece of the regulator and a hand.

It's a Royal Model 1872 and 16sz in hunter case configuration with 13-15J. All 1872 models are both larger and slightly thicker than standard 16 size watches and will only fit properly in an 1872 model case.

Mike I found regulator for it as I just restore one of those .
serial# on the donor is 4348283
