What's on your watch wish list for 2008. I think I will try to add some nice 12 size pocketwatches to my collection.

A Illinois 18 size Cheasapeake & Ohio r.r., have always wanted one because my great grandfather worked on that line, but as they are hard to find and a little expensive,it will have to be my Holy Grail, Happy New Year, Jeffery

A 12 size Doll Watch Co, 12 size South Bend Directors Watch and some 23 jewel 16 size Hampdens i.e. the ones I don't have.

I have decided to try and collect a private label watch from each state. I know this will not be easy and that it will be an ongoing quest. So far I have collected about 10 private label watches from different states.

I too like any private label watches. Did you find ony from Colorado or California yet?. I seem to see more PL watches from the East coast or midwest than the West coast.

Do not have Colorado or California yet. Thus far most of my states are from the east coast.

I Have an Aurora from the Dakota Teritories, but that was before they were states. Does that count?

This is the one with a very strange regulator that we have not yet determined the maker of.

Very nice, rare find. Have you researched the name on the dial yet?. I would presume it is what would become Soiux Falls, S. Dak?

I tried once in a half-hearted way, as I was attradcfted to the regulator first and then notice the Name had significance too. I will try again.

My wish list includes anything that has at least one star by it in the pricing guide and a steady rest for my SA Potter lathe.

My wish list: any 950 variant, in a mainliner case. 18s veritas or father time from 1907-ish.
maybe that sounds too wishy....just one of them would be FINE!
