Grade 149 Elgin "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I was looking at a Grade 149 Elgin awhile ago, and find that this is listed as either a 20 or 21 jewel movement, with only 9600 made. I can not say that I have seen many of these around are they uncommon, or just hard come by ?
I might get the opportunity to pick this one up later so would appreciate any info on it.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill the grade 149 and it OF brother both started out as 20j version because Elgin wasn't quite ready for 21j yet. The grade 149 started out as a lever set and the grade 150 started at as a pendant set. I have both and both are nice looking movements well worth picking up if you can. The 20j of either grade are uncommon and if you can pick the 20j version at a good price do it.
