A friend of mine had his grandson get into his sock drawer and needless to say, his 23 J Vanguard with up down indicator hit the floor. Broke the staff. He asked if I could staff it for him. I have never taken a watch apart with an up down indicator. Is there anything I need to be mindful of / look out for when I take it apart? Thanks

Hie Grandson would be the first thing I would keep an eye out for. As for the watch is it a 16 or 18 size?

Mark -

Take out your handy-dandy digital camera and take a picture of how each part fits into the watch. Use the pictures as a guide when yo put it back together.

It's kind of like making your own Essemblo-graph book.
