I've noticed in many old advertisements for American railroad watches, at the end of the movement description, it says "certificate of rating furnished on application". I always thought it would be pretty cool to have one of these with a watch you own, although I kind of doubt any have survived.Does anyone have one of these certificates, or ever seen one?They must have been something like a watch inspector card, serial numbered to the movement.Probably would add some value to the watch, too.
