I have a Bunn Special, model 9, 16s, Serial 3910916.
The hair spring is bent in such a way that I can't tell if it was a Berget or just a coiled unit. It is fixable, I just need to know what I am dealing with.
Thanks

Thanks Eugene. I figured it had to be Berget but was not sure it just made sense. Now I can put the proper bend back in it and maybe get it to run. It would run before but different positions would screw it up. I could see that it appeared to rub at different places and positions. It was bent in such a way that I did not know which spring it should be never having owned a Bunn Special before.
Thank you
