I just cleaned and oiled a 992B that had such a bad melamine dial that the buckled portions actually locked up the watch. The seller thought the mainspring was bad, turns out it was all in the dial. At any rate, the second hand popped off at the pipe and in trying to get it to rivet back into the second hand ... well ... lets just say it is not a pipe anymore. I read the post here "Repairing Second Hands" a bit too late and did not have a broach to do the repairs that Steve details. My question is, can anyone here repair these second hands? I have a replacement already, but just like the post says, these hands are scarce as it is so I feel I owe it to the craft to at least get it fixed or fix it. Thanks! Dan
