Here is an interesting article which takes a look at life on the RR's. Main focus is on the Southern RR in the 20's. It has a small section on a Hamilton 950. Also shows some interesting brotherhood buttons. About 12 pages. Rob http://americanhistory.si.edu/onthemove/exhibition/exhibition_9_1.html

thanks Rob for posting this link...... I had read about this exhibit at the National Musemum in DC in local papers and the Salisbury connection... The Spencer Shops, [now the North Carolina Transportation Museum] is only about 24 miles from where I live. I am embarrassed to say I have not visited it ![]() The NCTM would have been a good side trip at the past National Convention in Charlotte. It would also make a nice side trip during the Mid Atlantic Regional in Greensboro in October!!
