This movement looks to be American (to me anyway) but not sure what kind it is. It measures the same as an american 18s. Any ideas????

While Rockford made a series of "Clinton Watch Co" movements in 18 and 16s they were typical Rockford designs. This nice looking "Clinton" has a couple Swiss made and finished in England attributes; 1. Single separate Bridge supported Escape/Pallet Lever bridge. (VERY 19Th century British style 1868-95) 2. Swiss laminated Pallet lever jewels.(Sign of quality movement) 3. Lightly (and well worn) Plated Train plates. If the staff is good, and it has a dial, it would be a fun restoral.

Dave, Thanks had me fooled. Dial is decent and staff is good but fork not moving so I imagine roller jewel broken. Also it appears to be lever set and I do not see a lever just a space for one Havent had dial off.

Seconds pinion is there hard to see in picture.

Rob, I think the movement is Swiss. The regulator hairspring arm is typical. I have a nickel hunting case version of the movement marked KEYTONE, a takeoff on Keystone.

Dave email me if you are interested in this movement. I will treat you right if you are interested. You really impressed me with the last movement I sold you how you brought it back to life.
