Case is stamped "ALERT" on inside lid

GF? Base Metal? RGF/RGP (Is my guess)?

Jon I think this is a base metal case. Sometimes they are marked on the bottom edge of the case.

I have never seen a case just stamped "ALERT"...

Will have to wait to till I receive it and take a closer look.

I've never heard of it either, and I couldn't find it in Ehrhardt's trademark book.

David is correct as far as I can remember I have never had an Alert case that was not base metal and chrome or rhodium? plated. I think they were all made as replacement cases. They work OK.
