Jon I think this is a base metal case. Sometimes they are marked on the bottom edge of the case. | |||

David is correct as far as I can remember I have never had an Alert case that was not base metal and chrome or rhodium? plated. I think they were all made as replacement cases. They work OK. Deacon | |||
