E. Howard case hallmark query: B -'Crown'- II "Click" to Login or Register

I'm trying to ID the casemaker for what was sold as a gold-filled case. It is an engraved crown with a cap B on its left and the Roman numeral II on its right, with the word Warranted underneath.

Know the casemaker?

Ken, I think H. Muhr(?) & Sons is your maker.

I always remember this mark by associating it to that old TV show, The Ghost & Mrs. Muhr(?)

I am pretty sure one of the spellings is wrong.

Thank you, Lorne. Makes sense. Had I searched the database here using the word Muhr, I would have found Bruce Stewart's similar question. Unfortunately, the name is not in the hallmark.

H. Muhr & Sons made some cases for late-series early E. Howards (after 1885), according to Clint Geller's research. And after reading your suggestion, I looked up that case company to discover the same description of the mark.
