I purchased my 2nd example of these simply stunning watches from Ed Parsons which arrived on Friday, all I have done is simply wind it up, it has been running now for +60 hours and compared to my (sorry, digital, Seiko which is all I have to establish a benchmark)has not lost or gained a discernible second, in my view, absolutely INCREDIBLE given that it is from c. 1947. The quality is second to none, just perfect and definitely a 'keeper'
I have no hesitation in saying to all who read this excellent forum, 'if you want a fair deal and the real deal, don't bother with e**y/other, join IHC, the knowledge you have access to is worth the dues a thousandfold'
As mentioned, this my second venture into the world of American watches which are undoubtedy way up there on terms of design, I mean technical as well as aesthetic and innovation.

My sincere thanks to Ed for such a wonderful watch in great condition (and to David Abbe for my first, a 15 cased c. 1963) Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
