Just this week I purchased a Hamilton 992B that is housed in an authentic 950E Mainliner case. When I first saw it on the Bay I thought I must be seeing things. But it is a true Mainliner case. My first thought was how did it get a 992B? Well, my dilemma is should I leave the 992b in the case? Or should I get a case that is proper for the 992B? What is a mainliner case, by itself, worth, the condition is just a small line of brass on the edge of the case back? Thank you; Michael

Hard to say without pictures... But I would say a Hamilton signed Mainliner case with some brass on the back lid would be hard to get $100 out of it today. regards, bb

Using our Find or Search feature, I found nearly two hundred fifty references to mainliners and specifically this one may be of help... Is THIS a Mainliner or a wannabee???
