Hi folks
Does anyone know the correct watch for these hands? They are on a Waltham model 92, and they are not correct for it. They maybe Hamilton hands, I am not sure. Also if anyone would like these hands I would be willing to trade them for a correct set of Waltham Model 92 hands.
Thank You
Leonard

I'll take a stab at it Leonard. To my eye, the minute hand appears to be a Hamilton Canadian hand, the hour hand appears to be a late 992 hand, and the seconds hand appears to be a late Elgin hand, a 571 I think.

Best Regards,

Ed

That minute hand looks like it could be an early 992 24 hour hand Leonard.

What does the Waltham hands look like that you need? I have some, but am not sure if they are the right ones.

Larry

Hello Leonard:

If you find the correct set of hands, what are you planning on doing anything with the Hamilton 18S 24-hour minute hand, if it's surplus to you I would be interested in it for one of my Hamilton 18 size, private-label needs one.

Hi Leonard,
Maybe you can give the hands to Larry, sell the case, and auction the movement and dial here. Just a thought Big Grin

hi mike,
well i would give the hands to larry but , i havent heard from him yet. the movement needs a staff and i wanted to get it running and with a correct set of hands.the case is super nice condition ,like you dont see often and needs the plastic crystal changed to glass. once it is done it might be to nice to part with lol you know how it goes when you get one that needs a little tlc and by the time it takes you to do it you find extra room for it.
