Back when the Hamilton Watch Co. got started, most all other watch companies were using grade names for many of their different models. The only name-grade Hamilton I've heard of was the Hayden W.Wheeler.Anyone have an idea of why they used numbers instead of names, when at the time it seems like it was the "in" thing to do?
Thanks again!
