Howard by Waltham "Click" to Login or Register

I have acquired #1005260, a bridge movement made for Howard by Waltham. It is 16 size, 23J. It is in a Howard case that has been made from two cases. The dust cover number does not match the rest of the case. This watch dates to 1903-4. I am not sure what kind of case the bridge model came in. Does any one know? I would like to find a proper case. I wonder if this model was sold in a gold case.

I think I have been spending too much time on ebay, there is a case there that may suit you. I will email you the link.

I have a nearly identical watch, #1,005,282. It is in a Howard-signed 14k case #100,284.

Here is the front.

Thanks to all of you. Now my problem grows. It seems that the Waltham/Howard bridge movement came in a Howard marked case in 14K. Can I find one and for how much? A gold filled case would do if I can find a really nice one. Hope springs eternal.

Jerry-

I just picked up a very nice engine turned triple hinged dueber case that has a 7j waltham 1899 in it currently. it may fit the bill if you're looking for a gf case...
