Hello Carlos....It looks like tooth or bone to me....not stone.... Stone would have a high sheen appearance this does not....You can use the needle test or the shave test, and I prefer the needle because it is less invasive.... Take a needle and a thimble, if you have one, and in a very obscure area of the fob and see if you can start to penetrate the fob with the point of the needle.... If you can, then it is bone or possibly Ivory but if not, it is probably stone.... The shave method requires that one take a sharp blade, knife or box cutter, and see if one can shave a small portion off and sometimes this doesn't have satisfactory results....for the obvious reason.... BTW, that is a real nice fob....where did you find it...? Regards, Jerry

I've seen these before -- an elk tooth. The "BPOE" is the abbreviation for Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Elks Club. - Damien

Kinda like a mink stole with the PETA logo.

Damien, I think you hit it on the head at least it makes sense...An Elks Lodge would certainly use an Elk's tooth for a symbol of something noting there membership.... Here is a photo of this item showing the various items that are produced by the Elks....Some of the elk's tooth items will sell for as much as $70 to $80, the larger the better.... Carlos, I believe yours is shown on the left side, near the top.... Regards, Jerry

Elk? Okay, that makes sense. Jerry, I picked it up with an 18s Elgin attached. It's listed on Ebay with some pictures of the watch and movement.
