Wayne G. HaysAny Chelsea guru's on here?
I picked up on a Chelsea M1 message center clock. After proudly carrying it home, I removed the movement from the case and found no hair spring or a roller jewel.
Did it come that way new?
Does anyone out there have a hair spring and a
roller jewel?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Wayne

Bob MurrayWhile not a guru, the clock came with both. Under
John Duvall's "Helping Hand Tutorials",about three-quarters down the forum front page,
TM9-1575 has repair and parts info for your clock.

That manual will be of some help. I have run into some Waltham model 83 without the lever but cannot understand why someone would take the hair spring out. there is not even remnants there. and it does not look that easy to get to the platform to remove it.
