Hi all, i buyed only movement of this Elgin 17S on ebay, someone know type of case for it? Can i use 16s case? Thank you!

That is a "17" size model 1 which is larger than the 16. I have seen 18 size cases With a "sleeve" to adapt this into them, and also I have seen a 16 size "heavy" case cut out to fit this.

Nice watch! I picked up one of these a few months ago, I like it because they are unusual, and you don't see many of them.

I think I would get an 18s case and put a sleeve in it like David said, but that's just my opinion, you can opt for either way.

Looks like yours was made in 1876.
