I recently bought a "lot" of watchmaker tools after a particular item... these came along for the ride with the purchase and I have no idea what they are.

If I had to guess, I'd say they are inserts for a press... either that or air hockey pucks...

The set is complete set of eight pucks with sequential numbers from #1 through #59

The other half of the question is, how would they be used (employed) to perform their function?
