 Me again. Does anyone know how to have dents removed from the backs of pocket watch cases?. I own Illinois Bunn, Elgin 478 and Hamilton 992 and they all have one small dent in the back of the case. I live Gillingham, Kent. UK.  | |||

 There are wooden "Dapping" blocks that I use with a thin soft undersurface so that when I gently tap out the dents with a leather mallet they are not stressed outwards the opposite way. ![]()  | |||
