GLASS CRYSTAL LABEL STAINS? "Click" to Login or Register

How does one remove the faint stain or etching left from the label on NOS glass crystals? I was fortunate to find some NOS beveled glass crystals but after washing the label off this stain has been left.

I have used a Pithwood block faced on one side with a water+Cerium Oxide Paste. As I use it more and more, it gets better and better at polishing the label marks out of watch crystals.
