I need some help Identifying and getting a value for this watch. I can supply more pictures if needed but I figured just the movement would be needed to ID it.
Serial # 1000062
Case is a Solid 14K Gold Howard Hunter.
Thanks
Samuel

That looks like Townsend's drawing of an 1899 Waltham bridge model made for Howard as their "1903" model. I hesitated first to say this wasa it, but Townsend's sketch is clearly an open face while yours is the Humting which explains the differences of the bridge cuts to clear the ratchet wheel.
With 21 Jewels and a gold case, I sincerely hope you will offer it to auction or sale here.

Sam, sorry, I mis-read the jewel engraving, the 23 jewel waltham hunting bridge model is a 2* Shugart listed and is very valuable.

In the Waltham serial number list this watch is listed Special(Grade) which typically meant that a variety of higher grade watches were manufactured in the listed production run.

Bob

PS The bridge model was Walthams highest grade watch at that time. The Keystone Howard company bought some of these watches from Waltham until Howard was able to produce their own watches.

Later you will find some of these watches especially in 12 size with the Howard name ground off and with a non howard dial. In some instances the Howard name can still be seen when the light hits the movement at a certain angle.
