Dan Patch Stop Watch "Click" to Login or Register

What can the experts tell me about my Dan Patch watch. I believe it is a New York Standard,(but am unsure as no markings on it)and New England watch Co. also made one, 16s.
Can someone enlighten me on how many jewels this might have, led to believe either 7 or 17j.
There is a patent date of March 22, 1904, it states it has a double roller.
here are some pics of the watch

This watch runs well and all features seem to work, slips sometimes when winding.
Thanks for any and all help with this one,
Bill

Looking in the 2008 guide on page 322 bottom left image looks like your movement as a New England Watch Co. 7 jewel double roller Dan Patch.

Tom,
You're absolutely right, I had been looking at the New York Standard movements and couldn't find it had just passed over the New England ones.
Thats the one. Glad it's still a 1 star rating
Thanks,
Bill

I looked at New York 1st too & I thought oh boy a star watch but then when I saw it was a New England it was still one star, good buy!

Also named after the famous never beat race horse Dan Patch.

Bill, if it slips while winding, please get it fixed before some teeth get broken out of the windiong wheels. In the meantime, the Same functions of timing and flyback provided with a NYS version of this watch were (somehow) done with what looked like less parts.
