Hi All

Just picked this off the bay, but I do not know what movement is behind that dial.

Any guess?

Stay tuned for the answer!

Keith

I'll take a stab at it.

Could be an Iroquois, 12s... but more likely a 17J DR

The case could be Rockford, but is more likely a Montauk. The Rockford bow is beefier and has sharp corners with a swept waste.

These Rockford 12s watches were the most challenging watches I've ever overhauled. They run great when done, but I found them a bear to get right.

Thanks Paul for the guess!

It is not a 12s as Paul thought. It is a 16s 11j in a Dueber 20 year gf case (nice). I will have to fix the main spring and it should run. Looks all original. Happy with the purchase.

Will post picture if you want to see it.

Regards
Keith
