Saw this kit the other day and thought it was interesting. Please excuse photos from cell phone. The kit is from New York USA and seems complete minus the gauge. Was the kit primarily for wrist watches as the crystal sizes seem small, up to 49 mm. and was it a standard tool for it's time? Asking simply out of curiosity. Thanks Rick ![]() | |||

its for pocket watches as well, hunter and open face remove the bezel as on picture,make sure the plastic crystals are not yellow as many might be from that time. | |||

Hi Peter and thanks. I am not buying it but it peaked my curiosity to time period and efficiency. And you are right, some of the crystals in envelopes (not many in envelopes) are yellowed. Regards Rick | ||||

I have that tool and is great to press the case back on wristwatches with some ingenuity ![]() | |||

Do not overlook SUC crystals as they made some of the unique fancy shape crystals for Longines, LeCoultre and other brands you won't find anywhere else. | ||||
