If you like I have a couple of Elgin convertible movements that I can try in the case to see if they do in fact fit.

After what Jerry said about his holding a Waltham 1877 & also looking at Mr. Muckle's diagram for his patent, apparently you get get these with either type of stem so apparently just about any watch would fit in these cases.

If you have time to experiment, it would be interesting to know if one of your 16s convertible movements will fit the Muckle case. Thank you for suggesting this.
