Hi John If you like I have a couple of Elgin convertible movements that I can try in the case to see if they do in fact fit. After what Jerry said about his holding a Waltham 1877 & also looking at Mr. Muckle's diagram for his patent, apparently you get get these with either type of stem so apparently just about any watch would fit in these cases.
