LAFORGE & VALENTINE: Wha? "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Over on that big Bay auction site there is a 23j LaForge and Valentine Macy's pocket watch up for bidding. It's a an interesting looking Swiss movement. Now, some quick research leads me to who LaForge and Valentine were with respect to Macy's history, but nothing about watches under that name. Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks,
Tom O.

Looks like a version of the Omega DDR movement.

LaForge and Valentine were jewelers who put their names on some wonderful Swiss watches. Anything with their name on it is high quality.

Were they jewelers? I assumed this was related to the partners of RH Macy. It does seem a coincidence that the watch would from Macy's with those two names. However, maybe it is just that.
