I have this 18sz Waltham mvmt/dial/hands. It is a 17J, Model '83, H/C, # 14438530. I believe it is a grade 825. My question is of the regulator. Not being a Waltham person, I don't know that I have seen the "star-wheel" on the plates table before ![]() Is this just "standard" and something I have missed ?? I know they weren't all like this one. Let me run these 4 pictures by you please. Tell me about the regulator, perhaps it's something I just haven't paid much attention to. regards, bb Picture#1; ![]()

Buster, That is a standard Waltham Patent regulator of the period. Nice design, be careful of the Regulator arm which has a groove on the bottom that fits over the pin coming up from the regulator wheel.
