It should be an Illinois, is it stem or lever set? If it is lever it is a model 3, stem set is a model 4.

Calvin Tiffany was born May of 1835 in Connecticut & was a jeweler in Manchester.

Then it should be a 18s 11J Model 3 lever set open face grade 99 or 99-S made in 1895. There were 4,803 made in 44 runs between 1886 & 1895.

If you need the micro regulator for it I can see if I have a parts watch with it.

Thanks for the further information and for the offer. The question was for a friend at the swiss PocketWatch Forum and I first have to check out what he wants to do.
