Does anyone have the database to approx year of case mfg by #'s?

I have a Model #3 Case with a 992B in it and
am thinking the case may be too old for the watch...
Case # is: 229600

I know 1st seen in 1926...but what was the last year it was available for purchase?

Watch # is: C21453...1940

Any help appreciated...I'd sure like that database if it exists...

Tom,

We have Hamilton-Wadsworth case databases in the Hamilton Research Forum.

Just from memory, the Case Model No. 3 which was made by Fahys started in 1926 and went out of production in the early 1930's.

Best Regards,

Ed;

So, this Model #3 wouldn't have housed a 992B, correct?

Thanks for the info...great auctions tonight!

Tom...You're correct. A Model 3 case is too old for a 992B from 1940.

Only Models "A",2,10,or 11 would be appropriate for that year. The Models "A" and 11 must have shouldered pendants.

What year did the Model A, and 11 change to unshouldered cases?
