I've been wanting a 21 jewel Rockford watch for a long time, but I always ger outbid. Probably because I'm either too cheap or too poor, depending. Amazingly I won an ebay auction on a running Rockford 545 21 jewel watch for $185, which seems kinda low. It's what I had to spend so whooppee!!! ![]()

Very nice starting condition. All the screws look great, no corrosion, no deep scars, gold fill is near perfect. Beautiful hands, and the dial can be soaked or replaced. I'd say this one is a winner across the board.

Kevin, I picked up this nice example from Buster this summer, movement serial # 620632, ca. 1903. Price was about half again what you paid, and I still think I got a really nice deal. Wish there were more of these 16s open face Rockford RR watches on the market. I've seen a few 645s recently on the flea, but they always seem to be in crappy condition and/or overpriced.
