Hamilton Mainsprings? and a 992B MINT BOX! "Click" to Login or Register
posted
SmileHi - purchased this box with 20 or so mainsprings (I wanted the Tin Box). They nearly all have what I assume are Dennison numbers on them - They do not appear to have norman ends on them - A few have slots - like in the centre- but most are 'cut off' They are in very good original condition - no rust - Do they have a value?
ALSO I received this MINT (I believe Lindell R. likes this word) Hamilton 992B box when I bought a 992 on Ebay - a bonus, I hope?
Should I consider listing on our own Auction Site? Or Ebay... Pics herewith:

This 992B box is 'as new' - NOTE does not have a Watch serial number written on it. Is this unusual? No, the 992 I got did not have the case number on the box, darn it! Roll Eyes

Philip,
The first 3 mainsprings look like they have broken ends. The other two have hole ends.
