I purchased this for the Pansy in the auction, but would like to know if anyone know anything about the other items in the pictures.

They are really a mess, but I can't tell about some of the parts since I don't know very much about parts.

I tried to enlarge but it distorted it too much.

I wondered if things like these can be used for watch repair, and how do I know if they are any good? I don't want to just stash them away.

Sheila - I do see a quality Waltham movement in the assortment, too, as well as other movements that are always useful for parts, watch exploration and learning. If you do not wish to keep the Waltham (in the tin) please let me know.

Well, with a little help about how to post them, I decided to offer the parts on the auction board here, as soon as I get them, and take photos to post for you guys to take a look at them.

I plan on starting the parts at .99. And let them go to whoever wants them.
As far as the movements go, I will have to see what they are, and decide on them when I get them.
However, they will most likely be in the auction too.
Thank you for letting me know about the Waltham, I couldn't get my photo program to enlarge the picture for me.

I started collecting the Pansy quite a while back when I found it on ebay, and since then, I have found a lot of information about the Jeweler that sold them on Maiden Lane in New York, and about his Pansy Trademark, which is a picture of a Pansy, and L&Co. All of the Pansy L&Co. watch cases are solid gold, and usually are size 0s, and are, so far, Elgins.
I did find the FIRST size 16s, solid gold case with the Pansy Trademark on ebay this past week, however I didn't bid on it. Anyway, that's what a pansy is all about.
