Greetings all. I was just reading the post from Roger Stephens about his low number 937. When I scrolled down, I noticed that Buster Beck had some information on who, when and where the watch was originally sold. I have a couple of Hamilton pockets that I would be very interested in finding out that same information. Is there somewhere that people like me can look for that or is it more of a specialized search for those in the know? Can that same information be found for wrist watches as well? Thanks! Ed

I have "limited" info that I have saved over time from old records, as do others. I don't have much info on ww's, but I help out when I can as do many other members on our site. regards, bb

Hey, I'm back again. Buster, total curiosity, do you have large chunks of info or just random, scattered numbers? Only Hamiltons or other makers as well? I'm asking because I'm kind of the keeper of my family's watches and I would love to get as much back story and history as possible for any future generations that will end up with them. The Hamiltons are from 1950 and 1914 with some various other makers and years.

Edward That limited information for Hamiltons only exists for serial numbers of about 820,000 and earlier. This covers years up to 1911-1912. Bob

Well drat! Just missed the cut! Thanks a lot for the information Robert. I'll be keeping that in mind for future reference. Happy Hunting all!
