Thank you guys for the kind words. I hope to have one of Marks leather fobs in hand soon to pair up with it. I inspected the watch closely, Larry does excellent work.

I believe the right dial for this watch would have been double sunk. Hamilton's 2974B had a SS similarly marked dial, and I would guess that is what you have there.

I have been indulged with emails concerning this dial and it's availability. I was hoping that the original poster who was looking for the correct dial for his watch would contact me, but I have not heard from him.
This dial does have 2 hairlines, one in the inner chapter from the center hole thru the word "Hamilton", and the second one on the outer chapter is between 11-12 o'clock. They both are very light and will require a loupe to see or to reflect the light correctly to know they are there.
I have responded to the first interested member who contacted me and the dial is now SOLD.
We had a Northern front blow in yesterday and it brought torrential rains and some threatening low hanging wall clouds. My satellite connection was down for several hours but it is back up and running however the weather threatens again today.
Thanks for all the response and I am "blanketing" this to any/all the interested parties on-line and in plain view.
regards, bb

I have a flawless double-sunk dial for the Mainliner which now resides on my everyday 992B carrying watch. I like the way it looks with the model 15 steel case. If someone needs it more than I do I would like to see it back on another Mainliner where it belongs. lasell2@msn.com
