William D. WhiteUS Watch Crystal Manufacturing in 1922
Everyone,
Thanks to the miracle of Google Books, I found this article which was published in the Oct. 1922 issue of Industry Illustrated. This dovetails nicely with my 2010 post of how I make watch crystals today which can be found
HEREIf today's flat microsheet glass was available then, the process would have been much easier! ...Enjoy.

Patrick WallinVery interesting. I remember your post on your equipment and how you do it. Is that new Lathe for a part of the crystal making process?
