E. Howard 12s Series VII third wheel needed "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hi All,
I also posted this in the watch repair forum, not sure which is right.

I have a E.Howard 12s Series VII s/n 1302987 that is need of a third wheel.
It seems that one of the pinion gears has broken off.

Any idea where I might find one looking for a new home ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Cc

Hi Chris,

That looks like a Center Wheel which is the term that is used widely (the correct term is "2nd wheel". There were plenty of changes in these over the years and it might pay to measure the arbor where it runs in the jewels on both sides? If it is the 3rd wheel please accept my apologiesSmile

All the Best,
Erin

We have some here Chris, good used ones, shipping & insurance are the biggest killers from here to you.

Much cheaper to find one closer to home, but if you can not, we can sort something for youSmile

Can you measure the arbor to ensure we get you the right one?

Best Regards,
Erin

Hi Erin,
Thank you for the quick responses.

I do believe that I have sourced one here locally.
Should know later today for sure.

So, slight chance I’ll be doing some measurements for you ....

Again, Thank you for your time and effort.
